A Japanese atheist, in his last breath, sees an entity that proclaims itself as a god. The entity condemns the atheist for his lack of belief. The salaryman, still in Disbelief, contests all statements made and addresses the identity as “Being X.”
The entity reincarnates the atheist into a world of difficulties to make him acknowledge the existence of a god. The atheist is reborn as an orphan girl, Tanya Degurechaff, in an alternate reality I. The midst of world war 1. According to the entity, if Tanya still dies in disbelief, her soul will be sent to hell to perish.
In a bid to escape death, Tanya joins the Empire’s Mage Corps and acts ruthlessly so she can attain high ranking to prevent death on the battlefield.
Fate/ Zero и Fate/stay night: Unlimited Blade Works

Btooom!
Ryouta Sakamoto is an ordinary unemployed young man who spends most of his time playing Btooom!, an online video game. One day, he awakens to find himself on a deserted island with a green crystal implanted in his left hand and no memory of how he got there.
To his shock, he discovers that the game he loves has been recreated in real life, and the players must fight to the death using special bombs called «BIMs.» To return home, Ryouta must eliminate seven other players and take their green crystals.
Reluctant to engage in violence, Ryouta teams up with Himiko, another Btooom! player, to survive and escape the island while uncovering the truth behind the deadly game.
One Punch Man (OPM)
While not even an isekai anime, OPM makes it on this list with its superbly overpowered protagonist, Saitama. The most glaringly obvious factor is that both the leads are the top tier in terms of power levels. So strong that even the fiercest foes seem little more than a child in a costume. Both even have similar moments of enjoyable deadpan humor. Although Overlord mixes plenty of dread and horror and creates actual moments of strife to balance everything, One Punch Man takes a relatively light hearted approach in creating a parody of the entire superhero genre. Needless to say, when the moment calls for it, they are uber cool that may make even the most casual audience root for the characters. And thereby, making itself another anime similar to Overlord.
Btooom! (2012)
Ryouta Sakamoto is the top player of an online video game named ‘Btooom!’. He lives with his mother, and apart from playing the titular game, he is not interested in any other aspect of life. But one day, Ryouta wakes up to find that he is now in a real version of the game he loves playing with one difference. Here, people can and will actually die. In the high-stakes survival setting, every participant will have to kill others to obtain their green crystal, and only those alive till the end will get a chance to relive their normal lives. Though reluctant at first, Ryouta decides to go for the violent approach when other players he encounters end up being hostile.

The Rising Of The Shield Hero
The kingdom of Melromarc has been suffering from the Waves of Catastrophe for centuries, and to help combat them, four regular men from modern-day Japan are summoned to become the kingdom’s saviours.
Naofumi Iwatani, an otaku, is appointed as the «Shield Hero» and is given a weak shield to fight the Waves. However, his fellow heroes and the kingdom’s inhabitants belittle him and he is ultimately betrayed and falsely accused of a crime.
Due to this, Naofumi faces heavy discrimination, causing him to embark on a journey of self-improvement. In the process, he acquires a demi-human slave named Raphtalia to accompany him.
The Rising of the Shield Hero

They will go in peace and try to establish a treaty with that special world. If they fail to do so, the consequences can be very devastating with casualties on either side. Youji has a lot riding on his shoulders and he has to make this a successful mission. He is very aware that there is zero room for mistakes.

Coming to the top 3, it would be a shame if we did not include ‘So I’m a Spider, So What?’. On yet another absolutely ordinary day in a high school, some rather extraordinary event occurs, causing many of the students to reincarnate in a separate mythical world. Но закоренелые игроки не собираются просто так сдаваться и один из руководителей топовой гильдии решается остаться в игре до самого конца. Он играет за Персонажа с именем Момонга, который является личем и представителем темной фракции. Глава гильдии собрал всех сподвижников возле себя в ожидании закрытия игры, но на удивление произошло то, чего никто не ожидал.
Сервер не закрылся, а перезапустился и Момонга превратился в могущественного мага. Являясь в реальной жизни сиротой-затворником, он решает выход из игры не искать, а остаться, тут прилагая все силы, чтобы захватить здешний мир.
Хотя к 5 сезону сюжет начал провисать и наблюдается откровенная халтура, поклонников это не останавливает и на январь следующего года уже анонсирован пятый сезон. Обидно, ведь задумка и первые сезоны весьма интересны и качество сюжета, музыки и анимации заставляет пересматривать некоторые эпизоды раз за разом.
