Настало лето и как раз к этому времени подоспела новая Bluetooth колонка от компании Nopending под названием Splash. Какой она вышла можно узнать из этого обзора.
Колонка приходит в компактной коробке с фирменным дизайном компании Tronsmart.
Из фото на коробке и указании класса защиты Ip 67 становится понятно, что колонка предназначена для активных людей, которые любят плавать и заниматься спортом.

Из допов у нас короткий micro-usb кабель и карабин, с помощью которого можно зацепить колонку на рюкзак или велосипед
Сама колонка выполнена в виде «шайбы» и имеет прорезиненное покрытие а-ля Soft touch.
Технические характеристики колонки таковы:

Динамик расположен на передней (верхней) стороне колонки. Чуть выше динамика имеются два круглых отверстия: слева — светодиод, который горит голубым во время работы колонки и мигает красно-голубым в процессе зарядки. Правое отверстие — микрофон.
На нижней стороне расположена резиновая заглушка, под которой располагается microUSB разъем для зарядки колонки и слот для microSD карт памяти до 64 Гб.
На колонке присутствуют достаточно простые и удобные прорезиненные кнопки управления: — вкл/выкл при долгом нажатии. Одиночное нажатие — переключение режима воспроизведения с карты памяти или Bluetooth. — плей/пауза — кнопка «+», которая простым нажатием увеличивает громкость, а при удержании — переключает трек вперед при проигрывании с карты памяти или через Bluetooth — кнопка»-» — простое нажатие уменьшает громкость, удержание — перематывает трек в начало или включает предыдущий трек.
На колонке также имеется резиновая петелька, за которую цепляется карабин
Но если вы обратите внимание на стрелку на следующем фото, то увидите достаточно заметный шов на soft touch покрытии
Такой же шов есть и на другой стороне, что достаточно сильно бросается в глаза.
Однако в данной колонке упор сделан именно на ее живучесть и способность переносить «водные процедуры». Проверим данную способность=)
Колонку поливают капли дождя из дождевателя — ну а вдруг вы забыли ее на газоне, а у вас установлена система автополива? Из колонки доносятся захлебывающиеся звуки музыки, но она продолжает играть, а на басовитых треках мы можем наблюдать подобие «графического эквалайзера» =))
Если взять колонку и вытряхнуть воду из динамика, то она продолжает петь нормальным голосом. С этим испытанием колонка справилась. Идем дальше
Надо отдать должное, что колонка плавает в воде и достаточно уверенно, несмотря на ее вес в 270 грамм. Перевернуться динамиком вниз она также не норовит. Но что будет, если уронить ее в воду?
А не будет ничего страшного — она всплывет на поверхность и будет работать. При это в закрытый резиновой заглушкой отсек не попало ни единой капли
Кстати, замер емкости аккумулятора показал 877 maH, а время зарядки составило 2 часа 32 минуты, Это конечно не дотягивает до заявленных 1000 maH, но позволяет прослушать около 9 часов музыки.
Что же касается звука…
Несмотря на уверения о том, что колонка выдает хороший бас — это не так, к сожалению. Преобладают у нее верха и средние частоты. При это создается впечатление, что трубачи или струнные сидят и играют прямо перед тобой, а вот баса нет почти совсем. Низкие частоты очень слабые и плоские. Ну и громкость у колонки средняя — 7 Вт динамик не в силах свершить чудо. Из всех колонок Tronsmart, которые попадали ко мне, больше всего мне понравилась Element T6 (слева на предыдущем фото). Но упор в модели Splash производитель сделал на ее класс защиты Ip67, продолжительность работы и возможность брать ее с собой в походы или крепить на велосипед во время велопрогулки.

Verdict
The Tronsmart Splash 1 Portable Bluetooth Speaker can be purchased for $30.99, and for this price, the speaker offers quite a lot. It’s small and easy to carry, so you can take it with you just about anywhere. It has an IP7X rating, which means you can hang it in the shower or take it to the pool for some background music.
It has a decent battery life and can connect seamlessly to your smartphone via Bluetooth. However, it won’t sound as good as some of the larger speakers currently on the market. Despite its dual drivers and stereo sound capabilities, the Splash 1 falls into the average category when it comes to sound.
The Tronsmart Splash 1 Portable Bluetooth Speaker isn’t for audiophiles, but it’s a great starting point for someone who has never owned a Bluetooth speaker before and wants to see what such products can offer. The super affordable price alone is enough to make it an interesting choice for a larger audience.

Battery Life and Other Features
The speaker offers a pretty long battery life. You can get an entire day of playback if you’re willing to keep the volume to 50% or lower without the battery dipping down too much. The product is powered by a 2,200 mAh battery, which takes about 2 hours to fully charge with a USB Type-C cable.
The Splash 1 is rated as waterproof (IPX7), so you shouldn’t have any problem using it in the shower. In our testing, the product managed to do its job without skipping a beat, even with water splashing it continually during a 20-minute shower. The device should work just as well at the beach or the pool.
As for additional features, the speaker packs a cool light show. There are two lights at the base of the speaker that constantly change while you’re playing your tunes, which will make the whole experience more enjoyable. Users can also access their virtual assistants via the Splash 1, so you can talk to Google Assistant, Cortana or Siri just by saying the magic words.
Performance
For a small monophonic speaker, the Splash 1 sounds pretty darn good—competitive with speakers that cost twice as much. That said, small and monophonic don’t make for audiophile sound, no matter what the cost (physics, my friends). Caveats aside, the Splash 1’s performance is more than adequate, particularly on the beach, beside the pool, or around the RV.
The primary downside to the Splash 1 (and its brethren) is the lack of thump. You can make out the bass instruments and the kick drum, but you won’t feel them, as everything below approximately 100Hz is rolled off drastically. The only speaker in this category I’m aware of that even comes close to thump is Sony’s SRS-XB13, but that’s twice the price and still not really satisfying in the low end.
The Splash 1’s mid-range and high frequencies are dialed in nicely, though monophonic speakers always muddy things up slightly (depending on the material, of course). Overall, the Splash 1 is easy on the ears, but nothing to write home about. Like the competition.
Tronsmart claims 24 hours of run time from a 2200mAh battery, and I was somewhere near 10 hours with the indicator lights still showing a half charge. Mileage will vary with volume (I was listening rather quietly while I worked).
Using the Tronsmart Splash 1 Portable Bluetooth Speaker
The Tronsmart Splash 1 Portable Bluetooth Speaker features a practical (but built r in) lanyard design so that you can easily hang it anywhere. This makes the product suitable for travel, office, hiking, beach/pool, shower and many other scenarios.
Given the speaker’s size, we weren’t sure what to expect in terms of sound, but the device performed pretty decently in this department. According to the spec sheet, the Splash 1 boasts so-called “premium dual drivers with Passive Radiator for Tonal Balance.” It also offers True Wireless Stereo for Stereo Surround Sound. Moreover, Tronsmart says the device can deliver 15W stereo sound. This last specification places the Splash 1 somewhere in the middle, not too loud but not too quiet.
Of course, we’ve had louder speakers, but given the Splash 1 price range, as well as compact frame, the outcome was better than expected, especially indoors. On the other hand, if you want to use the Splash 1 at a barbecue or another type of social activity — anywhere where there’s a lot of chatter as well as background noise — you may have a bit of a hard time hearing the music over the racket.
Even in closed spaces, you shouldn’t expect the Splash 1 to convey outstanding sound. When maxing out the volume, for example, sound quality does take a noticeable dip, so we don’t recommend listening with the volume turned all the way up. With all that being said, the speaker does a decent job at playing your favorite tunes. There’s nothing spectacular about it, and that’s okay for the price and what its designed for.
Getting Started with the Tronsmart Splash 1 Portable Bluetooth Speaker
The Tronsmart Splash 1 Portable Bluetooth Speaker is delivered in a very compact square box, which includes a USB Type-C charging cable. There are no other accessories included, but it’s really all that you need to start listening to music.
The Splash 1 is a super portable device, which can easily fit in your palm. It features two buttons on the back (On/Off and Menu), while the volume, forward and back buttons are mounted on top, underneath the logo.
Setting up your new speaker is super easy. Just turn the Splash 1 on, open your phone and navigate to “Settings -> Bluetooth” on your phone. Select “Pair new device” and allow the device to scan for new Bluetooth objects in its vicinity. You should be able to see the Tronsmart speaker appear in the generated list. Tap to pair — and that’s it. You can now open Spotify or any other music app you’re using and start playing your favorite tunes.

Здравствуйте любители портативной акустики и им сочувствующие! В этом обзоре знакомимся с новинкой от известной в узких кругах компании Tronsmart. Это компактная влагозащищенная колонка Tronsmart Splash 1 с заявленной мощностью 15 Вт.

Упаковка и комплект поставки
Упаковка выполнена в фирменных цветах. Это фиолетовый торец и яркий оранжевый хлястик. Лично я коробки этого бренда сразу узнаю из тысячи других.
Комплект поставки обычен: портативная колонка Tronsmart Spash 1, USB Type C для зарядки, AUX провод и мануал пользователя с русским языком.
Колонка круглая по своей форме. Гриль покрыт тканью, нижняя часть колонки пластиковая. Присутствует несъёмный ремешок. На передней части красуется площадка с логотипом Tronsmart и три кнопки управления.
На верхнем торце колонки немного утопленные кнопки On\Off и Mode. Нажимаются с отчетливым кликом. Между кнопками индикация заряда батареи в виде 4х точек.
Под толстой заглушкой для защиты портов от воды расположились:

- 3.5 мм AUX IN
На подошве колонки установлены три резиновые ножки против скольжения по поверхности. Так же напечатана техническая информация с серийным номером.
Тест драйв Tronsmart Splash 1
В первую очередь отметим приятную озвучку колонки без проговаривания названий режимов голосом. Так же при включении становятся видны небольшие светодиодные вставки для создания эффекта присутствия на дискотеке (шутка). На самом деле они не очень яркие и мигаю по своему однообразному алгоритму. В так музыки не попадают. Хорошо, что эту подсветку можно отключить.
Еще один момент заботы о пользователей – при каждом включении громкость устанавливается на ~ 50%. То есть сводится к минимуму шанс внезапно оглушить себя громкой музыкой.
Звук по мне очень приличный, хорошая детализация, провалов по частотам нет. На максимальной громкости колонка не захлебывается и даже присутствует бас. Тест драйв проводился в основном на электронике вроде trance и drum’n’bass с включенным Sound Pulse.
Что такое Sound Pulse? Очередной «улучшайзер» звука от Tronsmart
Обращаю внимание, что без него слушать Tronsmart Splash 1 вообще не вариант. По началу я даже был разочарован звучанием колонки, пока не нажал на заветную комбинацию «плюс» и «минус» для включения фичи Sound Pulse
Для любителей понаблюдать за ходом динамика и пассивного излучателя есть бонус – гриль очень легко снимается без каких-либо инструментов.

Впечатление от использования Tronsmart Splash 1
По итогу колонка получилась хорошая. Я ей доволен. Ведь количество плюсов сильно перевешивает минусы. Ведь самое главное для колонки это звук. И тут он качественный.
Актуальная цена на Tronsmart Splash 1 составляет около 1900 рублей (на момент написания обзора).
В качестве потока мыслей оставлю заметку про нейминг. Пару лет назад Tronsmart уже торговала колонкой под названием Tronsmart Element Splash. По логике эта свежая модель должна носить индекс Tronsmart Splash 2. Возможно из-за исчезновения слова Element маркетологи решили «перезапустить» линейку с индекса 1. Остается только догадываться …
Design and features
The Splash 1 is a circular puck about 4.25 inches in diameter and roughly two inches thick. It floats and sports a captive adjustable lanyard that was just barely able to accomodate my head. Then again, the speaker designed to hang off a beach chair arm, your backpack, a shower spigot, or the like rather than around your neck, so no biggie.
The upper portion of the unit is the speaker grill, which is also home to the play/pause and volume up/down buttons. The lower half offers two multi-color slit LEDs for decoration (they change colors roughly in time with the music), four tiny LEDs for battery life, mute, and power/Bluetooth pair buttons, as well as a captive plug that hides the USB-C charging port and the 3.5mm auxiliary audio input.
The first digit after “IP” (Ingress Protection rating) represents dust resistance, while the second denotes the level of water resistance. The “X” in IPX7 means the device hasn’t been tested or rated for particulate matter intrusion, and the “7” denotes maximum resistance to liquid, i.e. the speaker will function after being immersed in three feet of water for up to 30 minutes.
Why the “X”? While water evaporates, chalky stuff (as anyone who’s dealt with fine particulate matter will tell you) persists like a nightmare. In other words, don’t use the Splash 1 in a talcum factory and expect it to play forever without grill removal and a thorough cleaning.

For the price, this is a great speaker! The sound is very loud and clear for its size and it seems to be built very well. The EQ is a huge plus that most bluetooth speakers dont have, I keep it on 3D sound and it really fills the whole room. Being waterproof is perfect because I use it in the shower a lot!
Does what it’s supposed to do — and quite well at that.
OK — this is going to be a short review — primarily because this speaker isn’t exactly state of the art when it comes to sound quality but does have a specific purpose in mind — and that is being able to listen to music, podcasts, etc, whilst taking a bath of shower.
The speaker kinda has a similar look and feel to the Google Home Mini — only a bit bigger. Obviously this is a single speaker so forget about any kind of stereo image but the sound quality isn’t too bad considering. The speaker does have a good quality ‘feel’ to it — it certainly doesn’t feel cheap. I suspect the bulk of its weight comes from the built-in battery. I haven’t really had a chance to check out the battery life yet but I see no reason why it shouldn’t last as long as its stated 24-hours playback time.
The speaker comes fitted with a lanyard which allows it to be hooked up pretty much anywhere you want — for obvious reasons — mine is attached to the shower. All the buttons are ‘blister’ type which certainly aids water resistance and they’re pretty easy to press. There are buttons for Power On/Off, pairing and standard playback controls.
Sound quality is perhaps somewhat expected for a mono speaker. In all fairness the sound is clear and there’s a reasonable amount of bass considering the size of the unit. It does go nice and loud without apparent distortion and — yup — it’s waterproof. I’ve not tried dunking it (I’m more a shower person than a bath person) but I’m sure it would stand up to it without any problems.
In conclusion — it’s a neat enough device. It’s not something I would have purchased personally (as I already have the Tronsmart Force 2 bluetooth speaker there which definitely sounds better) but nonetheless the Splash 1 is currently performing sterling service attached to my shower. Enough said!

Sleep Mode
The speaker would go into sleep mode (power off automatically, energy saving design) if not paring with any device over Bluetooth within 5 mins. Once it paired with a Bluetooth device successfully, if nothing played via it over Bluetooth within 15 mins, it would go into sleep mode as well. Please press the power button to turn it on again when you need to use it.
TWS Mode
Here is how to set two Tronsmart Splash Speakers into TWS (True Wireless Stereo) Mode:Turn the two Splash speakers on, double click the power button on one speaker and wait 10-20 seconds for the two speakers to pair with each other automatically, if no response, double click the power button on the other speaker and wait for 10-20 seconds.
Repeat the above procedure 2-3 times. The first time to set the two speakers into TWS mode might take you some time (about 1 minute), however, once they paired successfully, if you need TWS mode in the future, just turn them on, they will automatically reconnect to each other in 3-5 seconds.

TF Card Mode
Please press the power button to switch Bluetooth Mode to TF Card Mode. TF/Micro SD card memory capacity should be no more than 32G.
Factory Reset
Please hold the play/pause button for 5-8 seconds to make a factory reset. This will help to clear all the paring records from the speaker end. After a factory reset, you need to connect it to your Bluetooth device manually as the first time you did.
Special Tips:
Please check if the charging gap is perfectly sealed before you put it into the water. Please do not leave it into the water for over half an hour. It’s better to clean the speaker with a cloth after taking it out from water and wait for the water inside to dry naturally before you recharge it.
Troubleshooting:
Not charging: Please change cables to test. Bluetooth Transmit Range: Please test it in the open field regarding the transmit range, wall and human body or other obstacles may block or decrease Bluetooth signal transmit, it’s better to make sure no obstacles between the speaker and sound source.
Bluetooth Connectivity:
If you play downloaded music over Bluetooth mode and the sound from the speaker is intermittent, please test it in open field to check if the speaker performs well without possible interfere from WiFi or other 2.4GHz frequency signal sources.

Итоги
В общем и целом колонка получилась достаточно неплохой — это такая рабочая лошадка, которую не страшно взять с собой в поход или дать поиграть детям, не боясь при этом, что она утонет в детском бассейне или под дождем, так как воды колонка действительно не боится.Время работы в 9 часов и поддержка microSD карт памяти это тоже хорошо, Мне также понравился ее дизайн и форм-фактор — она удобная и не громоздкая. Простое управление и поддержка звонков тоже плюсы, хотя этим сейчас никого не удивишь. И все бы это было прекрасно, если бы и звук колонка выдавала достойный, но вот тут как раз и недочет, так как басов эта колонка не выдает и вместо привычного «бум-бум», мы слышим удручающие «тук-тук». К ее звуку привыкаешь, конечно, но факт остается фактом.
